My first name is actually Lisa (crazy, I know) and my middle name is actually Marie, but I've never really gone by Lisa Marie, except for a brief time while working in a customer service department answering calls, and believe me I've heard my share of Lisa Marie Presley jokes. {No, I'm not related to Elvis, but I do share his affinity for peanut butter and banana sandwiches.}

Now, this doesn't mean I won't answer if you call me that, but coming from a place of honesty and trust building, I just thought I should let you know.

Some other things you might be interested to know about me...

I am a mom to two amazing, smart, Lego loving and video game playing boys who make me laugh harder and love stronger, who bring out the protective lioness in me, and who can also make me want to pull my hair out at times, but I couldn't ask for two better boys in all the world.

I love to travel and dream of far off places I want to visit some day. I bring home cheesy magnets from each state I visit with the idea that it might teach my boys something about the geography of the United States, but it really only serves to further clutter up my refrigerator. Italy is currently on my list of dream vacation spots.

I am a foodie. I LOVE tasting menus at top rated restaurants. I love tapas in dimly lit, uniquely decorated restaurants. When I find myself in a location with too many good options such as a trendy street in San Fransisco, I've been known to create my own multi-course meal by going from one restaurant to another, choosing an appetizer at each one, with dessert at the last.

I love wine pairings and tastings. I will try all types of wines, but my go to is a German Riesling on the sweet side. Napa wine tasting, with a rented red 2-seater convertible is one of my favorite wine AND travel memories.

I love relaxing in the sun by the ocean with a good book, but hate wearing a swimming suit.

I would wear comfy clothes all the time if I could, but don't, and believe that it is very wrong to wear pajama pants and slippers out in public if you are over the age of 10.

Making people proud of me and trying to earn their praise has been a part of who I am since my mom's first "good job" and my teacher's first gold stars. This also works in your favor because I will do my best to make you over the top happy with your images.
